who are we?
The Channing-Murray Foundation is a non-profit art and social justice campus center rooted in Unitarian Universalist values.
We believe that everyone has inherent worth and dignity, people and planet are interconnected, and we all have a role to play in creating networks of care.
Incorporated as a UU student ministry in 1954, CMF has evolved into a performance venue, an activist meeting space, and a home to the Red Herring Vegetarian Restaurant.

EMERGENCY HOTEL KITS
Every week Channing-Murray, the Cunningham Township, and friends work to serve the most vulnerable in our community during this global crisis via our Emergency Hotel Kits. If you live in Champaign-Urbana and are having difficulty securing food, our Emergency Hotel Kits service brings groceries and household supplies straight to your doorstep.
This is our call to action; we live out our mission by meeting the basic needs of our neighbors.
