The Red Herring Coffee House

Started in 1967, The Red Herring Coffee House has been one of our longest running programs here at the Channing-Murray. Also known as the Espresso Yourself Coffeehouse, it is a weekly open-mic at the Red Herring Vegetarian Restaurant. With occasional performances by local bands, homemade goodies and treats, and fair trade coffee at only $1 a bottomless cup, it's a great place to get your groove on or hear some local talent. Creating a sharing community, where all are welcome of any religion, race, style, gender or age.
