Channing-Murray Foundation News

By Doug Jones, Outreach@ChanningMurray.org

CMF, the Unitarian Universalist Campus Center located at the intersection of Oregon and Mathews, has some great news to share:

1. The Unitarian Universalist Funding Program awarded CMF a project grant for $14,500!
The project goals are to develop a core group of UUs at CMF and to create a database of UU young adults in the UUA Central Midwest District (CMwD). Please email Doug Jones at outreach@channingmurray.org with questions and/or names (with or without contact info) of UU Young Adults in CMwD or who Bridged while in CMwD.

Or, if you prefer, you can Click Here to take survey

2. CMF and the Red Herring are having a Reunion the weekend of April 11th. If you are someone who was or wants to be involved with CMF and/or the Red Herring, please visit our web site www.ChanningMurray.org/Reunion. We have launched a members/alumni section to our website to share stories/photos to create a web book of CMF history. www.ChanningMurray.org/interactive

3. CMF is also hoping to have a Ministerial Intern starting in August of ‘08. The goal is to have this become a recurring opportunity with a new seminary student in the position each year. We are looking for donated housing, search committee members and financial support. Please visit www.ChanningMurray.org/Intern for details.

Channing-Murray sponsored a workshop at the UUA General Assembly in June 2007 in Portland, OR.
