Outreach
Project
Please help us contact and serve ALL CMwD Young Adults
18 to 24.
We
want to ask them 1 question:
Do you want to be in community with UUs?
If they say yes, Channing Murray will:
1.
Help them connect locally with YA Groups, Congregations and individual
UUs near them.
2. Help
them connect to Regional, District and National UU Young Adult events.
3. Invite them
to Monthly Regional Events sponsored by Channing Murray.

was raised locally. Thank you to all our supporters!
GA08
(UUA General Assembly 2008) Workshop
Channing Murray Foundation and The Unitarian Universalist Congregation
at Shelter Rock Co-sponsored workshop 2016, Transforming UU Campus
Ministry with Congregational Cooperation in Fort Lauderdale on June
26, 2008. We shared how we are working with congregations to create
pilot UU Regional Campus Centers. Working together, we can better
serve Young Adults and grow our denomination.
The
Jane Anderson Internship
Channing Murray is very pleased to announce the creation of the Jane
Anderson Internship to provide Channing Murray with a series of full
time Campus Ministry Interns. The Jane Anderson Family is creating
a Trust Fund with a target of $120,000 by making a challenge grant
of up to $60,000. Channing Murray is most grateful for this very generous
gift. More
here.
The first Jane Anderson Intern will be Elizabeth Marsh
Earlier
this spring Elizabeth, a 3rd year seminarian at Starr King School
for the Ministry in Berkeley, California, accepted our invitation
to serve as our campus ministry intern from September 2008 till May
2009. She brings a combination of Midwestern roots, Left Coast sensibilities
(she’s a vegan and committed pedestrian, for example), and a
genuine excitement about campus ministry. In addition her work at
CMF, she will be leading a Sunday Service at six to eight UU congregations
in our region. More
