Young Adult Group
Tuesdays at 8 p.m. during school semesters.
On Tuesday August 28, the Channing-Murray Foundation Unitarian-Universalist Young Adult Group will kick off another exciting year of community, spirituality and service. If you would like to find out more information about what the Unitarian-Universalists are up to this semester, contact Sara Jones at uuyaguc@gmail.com.
Sara will be available on Thursdays 1 - 3 p.m. or by appointment if you would like to stop in to chat, to learn more about the young adult group, Unitarian-Universalism or other programs and activities at Channing-Murray and in the campus community.
Meditation
Circle
Meditation Hour 2nd and 4th Thursdays @ 7pm Meditation Hour is open
to people of all beliefs. Create your own peaceful energy in the open
space of the Channing-Murray Chapel, with a beautiful backlit stained
glass window and meditative music. Open to individuals of all levels
of meditation experience. We devote the first ten minutes to discuss
the process and experience of meditation. Please wear comfortable clothing.
A Womens
Sharing Circle
Group for women of all ages and backgrounds to address the challenges,
strengths and creative aspects of their lives. Meetings are every Wednesday
from 7-9 p.m. in the Fireplace Room. Facilitator is Claire Szoke (265-0581).
Tagore
Festival
Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941), poet and philosopher, became the first
non-European to receive the Nobel prize for literature in 1913. A year
earlier, he gave a series of lectures in our chapel. Each fall, the
