Meditation Circle

Create your own peaceful energy in the open space of the Channing-Murray Chapel, with a beautiful backlit stained glass window and meditative music. Open to individuals of all levels of meditation experience. We devote the first ten minutes to discuss the process and experience of meditation. Please wear comfortable clothing.

A Women’s Sharing Circle

Tagore Festival
Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941), poet and philosopher, became the first non-European to receive the Nobel prize for literature in 1913. A year earlier, he gave a series of lectures in our chapel. Each fall, the Tagore Center at Channing-Murray has a festival honoring him. See http://tagore.business.uiuc.edu for details.
